Posted in Festiva Adventure Club tagged , , , , , , , at 7:44 am by festivaportland

Story from the Portland Press Herald by Meredith Goad // Staff Writer

Elevation Burger, the country’s first certified organic hamburger chain, will open a new restaurant in South Portland Jan. 16.

Elevation Burger serves grass-fed, free-range, 100 percent-certified organic burgers made from meat that is ground fresh in the restaurant. Its menu also includes two kinds of veggie burgers, fries cooked in olive oil, and shakes made with hand-scooped ice cream.

The chain’s slogan is “Ingredients Matter.”

The new Maine restaurant will be located at 85 Western Ave.

Elevation Burger was founded by California native Hans Hess, who opened his first restaurant in Falls Church, Va., in 2005. There are now 19 Elevation Burgers in eight states, and one in Kuwait. The company is expanding and expects to have more than 100 locations by the end of 2013.

In addition to the regular burgers on its menu, customers can order a “Vertigo Burger” with anywhere from three to 11 patties, or a “Half the Guilt Burger” made with one beef and one veggie burger.

Don’t want a bun? They’ll wrap the burger in lettuce.

Vibrational Sound Healing Techniques Workshop

Posted in Festiva Adventure Club tagged , , , , , , at 9:31 am by festivaportland

Just as music contains sound; sound contains frequency. Everything has a frequency. Every cell of our body, every organ including our heart, each emotion that we feel, thoughts that we hold, and the belief that we carry in this moment, is a frequency. The earth has a frequency, as does each tree, bird, mammal, and color of the rainbow. Each person holds a frequency, as well as, each workplace, neighborhood, social cause and country has a frequency.

Our universe is pulsating with infinite vibrations of information that is given and received. What vibration do you hold and what frequency are you tuning into?

*For this workshop we will be using the voice, Crystal Singing Bowls and other sound tools.

To hear the audio sound of the crystal bowls, click here:  Peace Bowl by Kalee Coombs

Workshop will be held from 6 – 9pm on Saturday 1/14 at Leapin’ Lizards, 449 Forest Ave, Portland, ME.  Cost (tuition) is $45. To register, call Leapin Lizards at: (207) 221-2363 or register online at: http://www.leapinlizards.biz
