The Old Port in downtown Portland, Maine, is an amazing place to be in this wonderful weather, and is not far from the Festiva Adventure Club office in Portland. The Old Port has a wonderful old world charm about it. You will stroll up and down old cobblestone roads while window shopping in the most unique locally-owned shops.
Shopping in the Old Port is not only a great way to spend the day but also a great way to help the local economy and artists and craftsmen in the area. You can spend many hours shopping in the shops. There are wonderful art galleries to enjoy also .
When you need a break from shopping you can stroll down to the waterfront and grab a lobster roll or a wonderful fresh seafood meal fresh right from the fishermen. When the summer weather comes in you can have a cocktail and appetizers sitting right by the ocean. There are many waterfront attractions as well such as sightseeing tours and boat rides.
