Trolley Rides!
One of the best ways to see some of the beautiful coast that Maine has to offer without driving, is by taking one of Maine’s many Trolley rides. Trolley rides are available from two locations on the water at York and Ogunquit. You can even visit the Seashore Trolley Musuem in another fantastic location in Kennebunk!

The weather is gorgeous today!
With the weather being so nice, why not take a walk at the Back Cove Trail? Not only will it give you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful day but walking is also a very healthy habit!
Back Cove Trail is one of the oldest trails in Portland, and it’s a great choice for a walk on a lovely spring day. With its wonderful views of the water and Portland skyline combined with the many benches and water fountains along the 3.5 mile trail you can’t go wrong. There are even restrooms available for your use in the parking areas at Preble Street Extension and Payson Park.
Many people are getting use out of the trail by walking, running and bike riding! The trail loops around in a paved circle and is mostly flat. There is a minor increase in the trail that runs parallel to 295. This trail also connects to the Eastern Promenade Trail. There is parking available in nearby lots as well.

In addition to the Back Cove Trail, there are about 29 other trails in the area that you can choose from as well! Some of these trails include the Harborwalk Trail, Fore River Trail, Westbrook River Walk, Walton Park, Martin’s Point, Falmouth Nature Preserve, South Portland Greenbelt Walkway and Peaks Island Loop. Kora Temple Shrine Circus

If so, you have to check out Lighthouse Depot in Wells, Maine, which is full of two floors of lighthouse items that would make perfect souvenirs or gifts. They also have a new location in Rockland as well. The best part is that it’s located in the Maine Lighthouse Museum overlooking the harbor.
The American Lighthouse Foundation is a non-profit group that dedicates itself to saving lighthouses. The museum displays many rare lighthouse items as well as framed vintage photos of Maine lighthouse keepers. Most of the items on display are owned but some of them are on loan from the US Coast Guard.

Opening Day at Hadlock Field
The rivalry between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees will be in full swing this week.
