If you want a fun way to celebrate your loyalty to your country you have to check out the Patriot’s Day celebration that Ogunquit is having from April 16th-18th. Not only will historical characters be all over the streets but there will also be drum concerts, a craft show, a carnival, a cook-out, some delicious taste testing, a casino night and so much more!

Friday’s activities kick off at 9am for the library book sale at the Ogunquit Memorial Library which will run through 5pm.  From 7:15-7:45pm there will be a reenactment of the sons of liberty meeting.   At 8pm the fife and drum concert should be a blast!  Traditional songs will be performed and they’ll teach you about the instruments as well.  After the concert you will even get to meet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.  At 9pm there will be a reading of “Paul Revere’s Ride” for you to enjoy as well as a reenactment of it.
